What is Kriya Yoga?

Kriya means “action”: an action that moves something deep inside of you.

The Kriya Yoga I learned in India is rooted in the Himalayan Yog-Vedantic tradition. It is an ancient practice of breath, mudra, mantra, movement and asana. At its heart is awakening prana, your life force energy. Through these kriyas we work deeply with the body, mind and energetic system.

Each kriya is designed with its own intention, supporting different emotional, physical and energetic states, depending on what you need in that moment.

When prana begins to move, something can shift. The body softens, the mind quiets, and your energy starts to flow again.

The six elements
01

Breath

Conscious breathing techniques turn your attention inward. They influence how awake or how calm you feel.

02

Movement

Simple, repeated movements release tension and get energy flowing.

03

Asanas

Postures you consciously take and hold strengthen and open the body and create space for the breath.

04

Mantra

Syllables and sounds, chanted aloud or silently, give the mind something to hold when thoughts are racing.

05

Mudra

Specific hand and finger positions gather your attention and carry the intention of the kriya.

06

Meditation

Every practice ends in stillness. This is where whatever has been set in motion can settle.

How it can support you

Releasing emotions

Stored emotions can surface and release.

Getting unstuck

What feels stuck inside can begin to move again.

Finding calm

Your nervous system can find its way back to calm. The breath becomes slower and deeper.

Energy & vitality

As prana flows again, you may feel more awake, strong and alive.

Clarity & direction

The mind becomes clearer, and you sense again where you want to go.

A daily practice

Shorter or longer sessions that fit into your everyday life and become an anchor you return to.

Personally guided

A practice that carries your work into everyday life

I practise Kriya Yoga every morning. To this day it accompanies and supports me in my own processes and in my daily life.

For me, the daily practice is an anchor and the companion to everything I offer. After a breathwork session or somatic bodywork, it helps you integrate what you have experienced, stabilise your nervous system and carry the change into your everyday life.

Voices
„Nackenschmerzen, Müdigkeit und fehlende Energie gehörten zu meinem Alltag. Heute fühle ich mich voller Energie und starte mit einem ganz anderen Lebensgefühl in den Tag. Ich bin gelassener, geduldiger und selbstbewusster geworden.“
